High-strength Knitting Polyester Yarns is mainly used to sew all kinds of cotton, polyester-cotton chemical fiber, wool and blended fabrics, etc. It is the most widely used sewing thread at present. It has five main characteristics as follows:
1. The heat resistance and thermal stability of high-strength polyester threads are good in synthetic fiber fabrics. It is lubricated on the outside, but the internal molecules are tightly placed.
2. Good light resistance and wear resistance. Lightfastness is second only to acrylic, abrasion resistance is second only to nylon, and it is better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers.
3. Corrosion resistance. Resistant to bleaches, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum commodities and inorganic acids.
4. High strength. The strength of short fiber is 2.6-5.7cN/dtex, and the strength of high-strength fiber is 5.6-8.0cN/dtex. Its impact strength is 4 times higher than that of nylon and 20 times higher than that of viscose fiber.
5. Good elasticity. The elasticity is close to wool, and when the elongation is 5% to 6%, it can almost completely recover. The wrinkle resistance spans other fibers, i.e. the fabric does not wrinkle and has good gauge stability.
